The Thomas Traceable 10 Memory Thermometer is used for monitoring the temperature in liquids, semisolids, and gases. The thermometer measures temperature from -50 to 300 degrees C (-58 to 572 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or -1 degree C between -20 and 100 degrees C. The thermometer has a 7.5" long stainless steel probe with a diameter of 0.25" that is impervious to most chemicals. The probe is attached to the thermometer by a 22" long cable. The thermometer memory stores up to 10 minimum/maximum values and has a temperature alarm that can be programmed to indicate audibly when the temperature exceeds a maximum or minimum value. An automatic cutoff function turns the unit off after one hour of inactivity to conserve power. This function can be turned off by the user. The LCD display has 0.5" high digits for visibility from up to 10 ft. away. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels.
