Using a proofing hydrometer and this parrot, you will be able to measure the alcohol percentage of fuel alcohol, whiskey, moonshine, etc., very easily. With this kit, we supply all of the copper fittings needed to make a high quality, 100% copper parrot. You will need to supply a piece of wood for the base of the finished parrot. You will also need to drill an 11/16" hole into the piece of wood* to support the finished parrot.
