The lightweight beer refractometer measures 8.3 x 3.4 x 2.8 inches - compact, convenient and ergonomic for comfort handling. While measuring gravity with a hydrometer requires up to 8 ounces of cooled liquid samples, the Handheld Brix Refractometer only uses a few drops to take accurate readings at any time during the boil. Save both time and brew; take readings and tweak as often as you wish. In addition, Automatic Temperature Compensation technology reads variations in ambient temperature to give consistently precise readings. This DIY brewmaster's measuring tool is complete with maintenance accessories that include a protective case, lens cleaning cloth, a set of ten 3ml pipettes and a calibration screwdriver. The Super Accuracy pH Meter Pen is a hand-held pH meter with manual two-point calibration, a backlit LCD screen and Automatic Temperature Compensation. The meter provides readings from 0.00 to 14.00 pH, with a resolution of 0.01 pH. It is designed for beer and beverage making, but can be used for other applications; it is an alternative to litmus paper. The Super Accuracy pH Meter Pen operates from 0 to 50 degrees C (32 to 122 degrees F) with maximum relative humidity (RH) of 95%. Two 1.5V batteries are included, and provide approximately 3,000 hours of continuous use. The meter measures 152 x 30 x 21 mm/5.9 x 1.2 x .08 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 60 g (2.1 oz.). Buffer solutions (4.01, 6.86 pH) are included for calibration.
