Cooper-Atkins DPP800W Digital Pocket Test Thermometer with Large LCD, -40/450° F Temperature Range

The Cooper-Atkins DPP800W dual-range digital thermometer is used for monitoring temperature in food products and food service applications, including dishwashers. It measures temperature from -40 to +450 degrees F (-40 to +232 degrees C), with an accuracy of + or - 1 degree F (+ or - 0.5 degrees C) from 32 to 212 degrees F (0 to 100 degrees C). Its stainless-steel stem-style probe is 4" long and has a reduced penetration tip for taking measurements while immersed in liquid or air. It has a 12" reach when fully extended with the sheath to protect the operator from heat sources. The Minimum/Maximum temperature memory function stores high and low readings. The ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic housing material has an anti-microbial additive to help deter bacterial growth. The unit operates on a single 1.5V battery, and turns off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life. It has a low-battery indicator that signals when the battery needs to be replaced. It is Ingress Protection certified to IPX7 for protection against immersion in water up to 1m. The European Conformity (CE) marking indicates compliance with applicable European Union (EU) directives, and the NSF (formerly National Sanitation Foundation) listing indicates compliance with applicable safety standards. It is compliant with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. It comes with a battery and instructions.
