H-B DURAC B61809-0200 1.150/1.300 Battery Hydrometer with Siphon Set
Manufacturer: Bel-Art
Brand: SP Scienceware
Model: B61809-0200
This DURAC battery hydrometer is used for determining the specific gravity of battery acid. It is supplied with a siphon set which contains a glass tube with plug and rubber suction bulb installed on the upper end and rubber nozzle with clamp for lower end. Rubber parts are made of nitrile, a synthetic rubber that is more chemical resistant and more durable than conventional rubber. The 165mm (6.5in) long hydrometer is individually serialized and features a wax paraffin and steel shot. Includes a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST and DKD/PTB. Hydrometer is tested and calibrated in our exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and DKD/PTB. Temperature of Standardization 77°F/77°F. Range: 1.150 to 1.300. Divisions: 0.005. Length: 165mm (6.5in). Accuracy: 0.005 Sp. Gr. Per Each. HB Instrument #: 50860.

Manufacturer: Chase Instrument
Brand: Chase Instrument
Model: 31500
Requires a cylinder 340 x 38 mm and approximately 260 mL of liquid. Models 6026Q20 and Q30 hydrometers have specific gravity scale in divisions of .002, Baume scale in 0.2°; 6026Q35 in 0.005 and 0.5°, 6026Q40 is scaled in 0.01 and 0.5°.
Vee Gee 6613-I Alcohol Hydrometer, 60-80% Proof Range, Internal Revenue Size I, 0.2% Subdivision, 305 mm Length
Manufacturer: Vee Gee
Brand: VeeGee
Model: 6613-I
The Hydrometer is an instrument which is constructed on the Archimedes principle that a solid body displaces its own weight of the liquid in which it floats. Hydrometers can be divided into two general classes; namely for liquids heavier than water and for liquids lighter than water. The base hydrometer scale is Specific Gravity, in which distilled water equals 1.000 as the initial point. Liquids lighter than water are scaled below 1.000 specific gravity and liquids heavier than water are scaled above 1.000 specific gravity. Hydrometers are usually calibrated at 60°F/60°F. To determine the density of a liquid, the liquid should be at 60°F. If the temperature varies, the liquid will either contract or expand, depending upon the temperature. Where there is a variation from the standard 60°F, corrections must be applied to the hydrometer reading. To assure proper corrections, a separate accurate thermometer should be used, or a hydrometer in combination with a thermometer, which is sometimes referred...
H-B DURAC B61806-0500 1.000/2.000 Specific Gravity and 0/70 Degree Baume Dual Scale Hydrometer for Liquids Heavier Than Water
Manufacturer: Bel-Art
Brand: SP Scienceware
Model: B61806-0500
Used in the chemistry, pharmacology, food and beverage, and starch industries to name a few, these dual scale hydrometers measure specific gravity / relative density (g/cmᶟ) of liquids lighter and heavier than water in various ranges from 0.700 to 2.00, and Baume in various ranges from 10 to 72, or choose the Universal model to span all ranges. Made of lead free ballast and glass, these plain form hydrometers are individually serialized and have a temperature standardization of 60 degrees F (15 degrees C). DURAC Hydrometers are hand inspected by our U.S. quality team in our exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory; internationally recognized and accepted by the signatory economies of the ILAC/MRA and located in our ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System registered facility. They are packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Note...
