The Thomas Traceable Food Thermometer is designed to measure temperature in food labs, food processing, food preparation, and brewing. The thermometer measures temperature from -50 to 280 degrees C (- 58 to 536 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 1 degree C. The 8" stainless steel probe has a piercing tip and is resistant to most laboratory chemicals. The LCD display has 1/4"-high digits and is perpendicular for easy viewing of results.
