The General Tools and Instruments IRT850K Industrial IR Thermometer is ideal for measuring high temperatures safely from a distance. This is extremely useful for many industrial applications including operation and maintenance of furnaces and heat exchangers. The thermometer has an extremely wide measurement range. Features adjustable emissivity, dual targeting lasers and a port for optional "K" type thermocouple for making contact surface temperature measurements. Releasing the instrument trigger holds measurement. Measurement Lock mode eliminates need to squeeze trigger to take readings. Stores and recalls 24 data sets (measured temperature and emissivity setting); minimum, maximum, average and difference displays. Instrument has adjustable high and low temperature alarm set points. Large backlit dual readout LCD for easy read outs and a white LED flashlight make working in low light areas easy. Buttons include auto power off, Celsius and Fahrenheit, lasers and flashlight on or off, and backlight on or off. Battery charge indicator lets you know when it is time to replace or charge the batteries. The device is CE approved and runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included) which last for about 180 hours of continuous use with lasers and backlight off. Set comes with a hard plastic protective case, a tripod mount , user's manual, and a 1-Year Limited Warranty.
