The WIKA TI.80 solar-powered digital thermometer is used for monitoring temperature in biotechnical and chemical processing, composting, aviation, and power generation applications. It measures temperature from -50 to +300 degrees F or -50 to +150 degrees C with an accuracy of + or - 1% the scale. The back-mounted stem is available in lengths from 2-1/2" to 24" long and has a thermistor sensor in the tip for taking measurements. The stainless steel 304 body and stem are corrosion resistant and withstand high temperatures. The thermometer provides temperature updates every 15 seconds for monitoring. It is powered by a 3V solar cell that operates on 35 lux of light.SpecificationsTemperature range-50 to +300 degrees F or -50 to +150 degrees CTemperature Accuracy+ or - 1% the scalePower supply3V solar cellStem diameter0.25"Digital thermometers are instruments used to measure the temperature of air, liquids, or surfaces electronically. They may measure temperature in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Most digital thermometers use thermistors, which are small electronic resistors made out of metals that conduct electricity within a certain range and become more conductive the warmer they get. A microcontroller inside the thermometer measures this electrical conductivity and converts it to a temperature, which is displayed on an LCD. Digital thermometers are used in a wide range of applications, including in laboratory settings, food service and storage, and in doctors' offices and hospitals.WIKA Instruments manufactures pressure, temperature, and level measurement instrumentation. The Thomas Traceable Infrared Dual Lasers Thermometer with Type-K Probe is an infrared thermometer that measures surface temperature from a safe difference for use in manufacturing, electrical, industrial, and food-service systems. The infrared sensor measures temperature from -60 to 550 degrees C (- 76 to 1022 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 2% of the measurement or 2 degrees C (3 degrees F), whichever is higher. The Type-K thermocouple sensor measures temperature from -64 to 1400 degrees C and from -83 to 2552 degrees F, with an accuracy of + or - 2% of the measurement. The thermometer has a 12 to 1 distance-to-spot measurement ratio with laser sighting to pinpoint the measurement area. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels. This Thomas thermometer is used to measure the temperature of hot and cold food products, heating and air conditioning units, electrical connections, engine parts, and other surfaces.SpecificationsPower source(2) AAA batteriesIR temperature range-60 to 550 degrees C (-76 to 1022 degrees F)Temperature accuracy+ or - 2% of the measurementTemperature resolution0.1 degreeType-K thermocouple range-64 to 1400 C (-83 to 2552 degrees F)Type-K accuracy+ or - 2% of the measurementStandard metInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025Weight9 oz.Dimensions (H x W x D)7 x 3.75 x 2 inchesH is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Digital infrared thermometers measure the temperature of surfaces from a distance. They may measure temperature in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Infrared (IR) thermometers work by focusing the infrared radiation emitted by a surface onto a detector called a thermopile. The thermopile turns the heat into electricity, which is measured and converted to a temperature reading. T...
