Vee Gee 6613-B Alcohol Hydrometer, 80-120% Proof Range, Internal Revenue Size B, 0.5% Subdivision, 230 mm Length
Manufacturer: Vee Gee
Brand: VeeGee
Model: 6613-B
The Hydrometer is an instrument which is constructed on the Archimedes principle that a solid body displaces its own weight of the liquid in which it floats. Hydrometers can be divided into two general classes; namely for liquids heavier than water and for liquids lighter than water. The base hydrometer scale is Specific Gravity, in which distilled water equals 1.000 as the initial point. Liquids lighter than water are scaled below 1.000 specific gravity and liquids heavier than water are scaled above 1.000 specific gravity. Hydrometers are usually calibrated at 60°F/60°F. To determine the density of a liquid, the liquid should be at 60°F. If the temperature varies, the liquid will either contract or expand, depending upon the temperature. Where there is a variation from the standard 60°F, corrections must be applied to the hydrometer reading. To assure proper corrections, a separate accurate thermometer should be used, or a hydrometer in combination with a thermometer, which is sometimes referred...
Chase Instruments 1902 Light Liquid Specific Gravity Hydrometer, 0.900-1.000mm Graduation Range, 0.002mm Interval
H-B B61801-6100 DURAC 1.480/1.550 Specific Gravity Hydrometer for Liquids Heavier Than Water
Manufacturer: Bel-Art
Brand: SP Scienceware
Model: B61801-6100
Specific gravity hydrometers are commonly used in industries such as food and beverage, chemistry, pharmacology, transportation, refrigeration and more. Available in a variety of models measuring specific gravity / relative density (g/cmᶟ) of liquids lighter and heavier than water in various ranges from 0.690 to 3.000, they are made of lead free ballast and glass. These plain form hydrometers are individually serialized and have a temperature standardization of 60 degrees F (15 degrees C). DURAC Hydrometers are hand inspected by our U.S. quality team in our exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory; internationally recognized and accepted by the signatory economies of the ILAC/MRA and located in our ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System registered facility. They are packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Note: Plain form hyd...
Thermco Specific Gravity, Plastic Hydrometer 1.400 to 1.620 x 0.002. 300mm
Manufacturer: Thermco
Brand: THERMCO
Thermco's Plastic Hydrometers are fabricated from polycarbonate (PC) which makes the instrument shatter-proof, while offering glass-like clarity for ease of reading. All models are plain form, so a separate thermometer should be used to measure the temperature of the sample and correct for any temperature variations. Temperature standard is 60F - Length 300 mm.

Vee Gee 6602-19 Specific Gravity Hydrometer, 1.720 to 1.790 Specific Gravity Range, 0.0005 Subdivision, 330 mm Length, 60 Degree F Standard Temperature
Manufacturer: Vee Gee
Brand: VeeGee
Model: 6602-19
Specific Gravity, also known as relative density, is the ratio of the mass of a solid or liquid to the mass of an equal volume of distilled water. The standard temperature of calibration in the U.S. is 60°F/60°F. All Bellwether Specific Gravity Hydrometers listed are calibrated at 60°F/60°F. 1.720-1.790 Specific Gravity Range, 0.0005 Subdivision
